The registration fee for Congress 2026 includes a delegate package, a certificate of attendance, and all activities on the Provisional Programme (link to programme section of website), including:

• Admission to Opening and Closing Ceremonies
• Keynotes
• Parallel and Poster Sessions
• Workshops
• The IBBY-iRead Outstanding Reading Promoter Awards and Dinner on 6 August 2026
• The Hans Christian Andersen Awards and Dinner on 7 August 2026
• Coffee breaks and networking lunches on 6, 7, 8 and 9 August 2026 

A limited number of additional tickets are available for:

• The IBBY-iRead Outstanding Reading Promoter Awards and Dinner
• The Hans Christian Andersen Awards and Dinner

To encourage the participation of all, registration fees are adjusted according to country of residence.

Please note that the registration fee does not include accommodation.

Please note:

• Bank charges are the responsibility of the participant and must be paid at source in addition to the registration fee.
• Registration will only be finalized upon receipt of the full payment by the indicated deadline.
• An email confirmation will be sent upon receipt of the required fees.
• A payment receipt will be issued in the name of the registered person indicated at the time of online registration and sent by email.

Cancellation policy

Requests for cancellation must be sent by e-mail to registration@ibbycongress2026.org

The registration fee will be refunded as follows:

• Full refund less $45 CDN admin charge for cancellations prior to April 30, 2026
• Cancellations May 1–June 15, 2026: 25% refunded, less $45 CDN admin charge
• Cancellations made after June 15, 2026: no refund foreseen
