IBBY’s Biennial Congress
For over 70 years, the biennial IBBY Congress has been the world’s most important meeting place for leading international experts in children’s literature, literacy, librarianship, writing, illustration, and publishing.
IBBY’s biennial World Congress invites members and all those interested in the field of books for young people from around the world to join together to share ideas and expand horizons. Congresses feature lectures, panel discussions, exhibitions, and workshops, in addition to the IBBY General Assembly and presentations including the Hans Christian Andersen Awards and the IBBY Honour List.
