    Indigenous Walks is a 90-minute guided walk and talk through downtown Ottawa. Together, we explore monuments, art, architecture, and landscape — all through an Indigenous lens.

    The Indigenous Walking Tour will be led by Jaime Morse, a Cree-Metis woman from Lac La Biche Alberta. Jaime has lived, worked, and raised her children on Anishinaabe Algonquin Territory, also known as Ottawa. 
    She is the founder and owner of Indigenous Walks.

    • Starting Point: Lobby of 150 Elgin Street
    • Group Size: 25 participants

    • 2 washrooms and 3 water bottle refill stations along the route
    • Wheelchair and stroller accessible, with seating areas available

    What is the route?

    • Stops include: Âjagemô, the Canadian Tribute to Human Rights Monument, Ottawa City Hall, Marion Dewar Plaza, and Confederation Park
    • The tour ends close to where it begins
